We just bought a 2nd Graco Nautilus 3-in-1. (Had a wreck, had to replace the old one.) We bought it b/c it seats a child from 20lbs up to 100lbs. And the 5 point harness is rated up to 65lbs. It goes from 5 point harness, to booster w/back, to booster w/no back for an older child. No buying 3 different seats as they grow. So, while Sam is the size of a small 7 year old and could safely sit in just a booster with the regular seat belt, he is still 4 and super wiggly and won't stay seated in just the booster. So he is still in the 5 point harness, which is fine b/c he definitely hasn't hit the 65lb mark yet. It is pretty heavy and bulky, but we don't move it much since we have another seat in Kenny's car for him.

oh... and we have a graco car seat. I'm 50/50 on it. Here's what I would look for... one that's not super huge and where AM is going to have to duck her head when you're putting her in the car. Zoe has to do that, and it's annoying. I've bumped that kid's head so many times... The one we have is pretty bulky, which, when pregnant, I figured the bulkier the safer and so I went with the bulkiest one that I could find.

I've had an overwhelming desire to paint my toenails some metallic color because of that stupid Special K commercial where they're stepping on the scale and it says "Joy" and stuff like that? Out of all those neatly pedicured toes... the metallic ones stand out the most to me. I think I'm going to do it. This week, in fact.

Mmm, I love avocados, too! We have both a Britax and a Sunshine Kids Radian65 and I like them both. The Britax is a bit bulky, but it's perfect for petite kids. Q is 3 and I think he'd be a bit uncomfortable in it, but the Radian is awesome. It goes by a different brand now, but it's really streamlined and fits well in tight spaces. I need to turn Sprig around to be forward facing, she's rear facing in the Britax and hates that her feet touch the back of the seat.

We're looking at getting the Britax 55 Convert...
