Talk of the Trains: Workouts

I have a confession. While I have been working out fairly decently of late, there just aren't enough hours sometimes in the day. That said, I have purchased two workout videos and on the nights I cant get out for a run or make it to the gym, these instead are what I do. 

Yup, the trainers from the Biggest Loser, Jillian and Bob in our household, kicking my butt. So far I have only done Jillian's, but I plan on integrating Bob's in soon enough. CT3 stands around and laughs at me, but whatever, I can out sit-up him any day, so I am okay with it. Jillian's is called the 30 day shred. I am only doing it every other day, sometimes with runs in between, so I guess that would technically make mine the 60 day shred. Regardless, I am about 5 days in and enjoying it. I will let you know if I get "shredded."

Meanwhile, I have a little work out buddy. He specifically likes my weights, likes to lick the sweat off of my legs and quite frankly just gets in the way! 

First, he helps get the weights out. 

Then he lifts the weights. 

Next he runs around the house with weights. Some would say he's running from me. I prefer to say he is just adding some weights to his normal routine. 

Once I finally catch up to him and get my weights back, he lays on them and slowly tries to pull them back as if they are his - of course hoping he wont get caught!

This is what the munchkin did as I finished my sit ups today. He flopped right down beside me and had his legs in the air. I was laughing so hard and when I called for CT3 to come take a picture, of course Champ got distracted and looked at him. He is such a wonderful little companion!

  1. I've seen that Jillian lady's commercial and SHE looks VERY intimidating. In fact, she almost scared me in to buying her video.
